Towards afternoon His Excellency also graced the groundbreaking ceremony of Construction of Tharakhola irrigation channel under Norbugang Gewog. 
The construction of irrigation channel was awarded to NTT Construction Company Pvt. Ltd with the approved budget of Nu. 36,822,177.64 through FSAPP, World Bank funding.
