The training on weaving baskets out of plastic wastes and Tetra Pak is being organized in Samtse Dzongkhag to mainstream Gender and Environment. The training will be provided for two week w.e.f 17-30/05/2019. There are 20 female participants from different Gewogs and SamtseThrom. The program is technically supported by Clean Bhutan, Thimphu in collaboration with Dzongkhag Environment Section with 3 trainers and a waste management expert. It is expected to encourage more women participations in waste management through waste recycling and best practices. Program is supported by MRG fund.
