1.GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1Area & Location:
Pagli gewog is located to the south-west of Samtse Dzongkhag. Gewog is bordered by Tading Gewog in the east and northeast, Samtse Gewog in the north and Indian State of West Bengal in the south and west. It covers around 116.02 square kilometers with elevations ranging from 600 – 1400 meters above sea level.
Northern part of the gewog experiences cool temperate and the southern region with sub-tropical type of climate with annual rainfall ranging from 1500-4000 mm. the gewog has high minerals deposits.
The gewog consist of 23 chiwogs with 23 villages. There are 491 gungs and 1018 households (PHCB 2005). It has a population of 5057 (PHCB 2005).

2.CLIMATE:
The gewog experiences annual rainfall ranging from 1500mm to 4000 mm. The northern part of the gewog experiences cool temperate climate and the southern part of the gewog experiences sub-tropical type of climate.
