1.GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1Area & Location:
Yoeseltse (Ghumauney) gewog lies on a road head and about 28 kms from the Dzongkhag Headquarters. It is one of the smallest gewwog covering about 22.95 square kilometers of area.
The gewog is bordered by Nainital and Chengmari gewogs to east, Chargary geog to the west and the Indian state of west Bengal to the south and west.
The gewog consist of 12 chiwogs with 12 villages. It has 479 gungs and 541 households (PHCB 2005) with population of 2809 (PHCB 2005).

2.CLIMATE:
The gewog experiences mostly heavy shower with annual rainfall ranging from 1500mm to 4000 mm. summer is hot and humid, winter is dry and coo with mean annual temperature of 19.2 degree Celsius. Gewog falls in sub-tropical monsoon zone.
