1.GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1Area & Location:
Nainital (Ugentse) gewog lies to the south-west of Samtse Dzongkhag covering 21.16 square kilometers of area.
Its bordered by Ghumaney gewog to south, Chengmari gewog to the south-west and Dorokha gewog to the south-east.
The gewog consist of 8 chiwogs with 11 villages. There are 257 gungs and 315 households (PHCB 2006) with population of 1536 (PHCB 2005).

2.CLIMATE:
The gewog experiences mostly heavy shower with annual rainfall ranging from 1500mm to 4000 mm. The summer is hot and humid, and winter is dry and cool. Gewog falls in sub-tropical monsoon zone.
