1.GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1Area & Location:
Tendu Gewog under Sispu Dungkhag is located to the north west of the Samtse Dzongkhag and is bordered by Bara Gewog in the northwest, Lahereni gewog in the east, Haa Dzongkhag in the north and Indian State of West Bengal in the southwest. It has a total area of 132.52 square kilometers.
The gewog consist 13 chiwogs with 22 villages. It has 425 gungs and 877 households (PHCB 2005) with population of 4587 (PHCB 2005).

2.CLIMATE:
The gewog falls in sub-tropical zone with warm summer and cold winter with snow fall in the northern regions of the gewog. The annual rainfall of the gewog ranges from 1200 mm to 3000mm.
