1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Area & Location:
Chengmari gewog lies to west of Samtse gewog sharing its border with Ugyentse (Nainital) in the west Dungtoe and Lahereni in the North. It covers around 115.09 square kilometers of area.
The gewog have 18 chiwogs and 18 villages. It has 560 gungs and 763 households with a population of 3877(PHCB 2005).

2.CLIMATE:
The gewog lies in sub-tropical type of climate & experience hot and humid summer, cold and dry winter with annual rainfall ranges from 1500mm to 4000 mm. The monthly temperature ranges from 15 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius in summer.
